OPERATIONAL UPDATE #3
AS OF APRIL 3, 2020
COAST FITNESS REMAINS OPEN ON WEEKDAYS FROM 8:00AM-5:00PM FOR SALES, OPERATIONS AND BUILDING MAINTENANCE
Due to the pending Statewide “Stay at Home” Order issued on March 19, 2020, we are not allowing member workouts. We know you want to workout at Coast Fitness and getting open ASAP for workouts is our sole and immediate goal!
Here are the latest member updates and some “good news for you:”
- FREE Les Mills On-Line Workout Classes Are Now Available: You can now take hundreds of Les Mills online classes 24/7/365 courtesy of Coast Fitness by visiting: https://watch.lesmillsondemand.com/at-home-workouts (Valued at $20/mo).
- Closure Period Credit Forms: Our “Closure Period Credit Forms” are ready to issue upon reopening. You will receive a 100% Closure Period Credit for the period we were closed along with a special “Coast Fitness Thank You Gift” (See below).
- Member Only Gym Workouts: We are ready to implement our Member Only Workout Reservation System upon Health Department clearance.
- Member Only Outdoor Sports Field Workouts: We are ready to start outdoor workout classes on our sports field upon Health Department clearance.
- Gym Equipment Purchases: During this period, we will continue to add new equipment to Coast Fitness, ex: StairMasters, Spin Bikes, Dumbbells, Barbells, Phone Chargers, Training Bars, Weight Plates, HVAC Equipment, Plates, etc.
- Gym Cleaning is Ongoing: Our cleaning crews are working daily to deep clean every inch of the gym, flooring, carpet and every piece of equipment both inside and outside.
- Equipment Maintenance & Repairs: Our maintenance crews are testing every piece of equipment and repairing any issues.
- Woman’s Workout Area Improvements: Significant improvements will be made to this area including new equipment and accessories.
- New Body Scanner: We will be purchasing a new body scanner to better chart your exercise results.
- Temperature Entry Access Check: Upon opening and for the safety of all members and staff, we will be instituting Forehead Temperature Checks prior to entry. Entry rules will be provided at time of temperature check.
- Suspension of 2-Day Guest Passes: There will be no 2-Day Guest passes accepted for entry until June 1, 2020.
- Membership Freeze Option: You can always Freeze your membership account pursuant to Article 2 of your Membership Agreement. (Click Here for Freeze Form). Additionally, you can always increase or decrease the Freeze Period you select.
- Membership Sales Continue with Special Sign-up Offers: Membership sales continue with special sign-up offers and pricing until reopening.
- “NEW MEMBER” Membership Rates Will Increase effective May 1, 2020: As we continue to invest in Coast Fitness, our “New Member” sign-up rates will increase. This will apply to “NEW MEMBERS” SIGN-UPS ONLY, so now is the best time to have your family and friends join Coast Fitness at the current membership rates.
- Available Membership Options: Please remember that as a Coast Fitness member you have the sole right to freeze, cancel or not make any change to your membership. We respect your decision to choose which option is right for you and we will always act quickly to honor your request with ABC Financial, our billing company.
